美国麦迪逊the Ant蚂蚁-Cam
The Ant-Cam is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Why is the video in black and white sometimes?
The lights in the Atta cephalotes display are on daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Central Time). When the lights are off, the camera will switch into “night vision” mode, so that our visitors can still see the ants!
Not sure what time of day it is here in Madison?
On the video feed is a timestamp of the local time here in Madison, Wisconsin so that you can know if you are watching the ants in “night vision” or not.
Why won’t the video load?
Try refreshing your page or coming back in a little while. The video camera only allows a maximum of 20 simultaneous connections.
Alternatively, try opening the web page in a different internet browser. Our website works very well with Firefox and Safari.
Does the video seem choppy or have poor quality?
Video quality is a function of your internet connection speed and computer speed. For best quality, view our Ant-Cam on a fast computer with a fast internet connection.
